The Biochemical Society offers an excellent wide-ranging programme of high-quality scientific conferences. The Harden Conferences are residential networking events of 4-5 days' duration.
Up to 20 residential and non-residential Focused Meetings are organized per year and can be held anywhere in the UK or Europe. The conferences cover a wide spectrum of topics; from stem cell technology to plant reproduction and from neuronal disease to bionanotechnology.
Proposals for meetings are welcome from any member of the scientific community.
The Young Life Scientist (YLS) Symposia are organized by young life scientists for life scientists, and are held twice per year. The YLS Symposia are supported either jointly with sister societies and industrial partners, or are Biochemical Society events.
