Scientific Outreach Grants

The Biochemical Society believes that scientific outreach events are a fantastic and important way way to engage young scientists and the public in the molecular biosciences. Outreach events not only help foster the next generation of biochemists, but they also promote an increased public understanding of molecular bioscience issues and boost the careers and opportunities of those organizing the events themselves.

 

Whether creating a workshop for school students, or speaking at a learned institution, the Biochemical Society is willing to provide grants, ideas and information to aid those planning their own scientific outreach events. Find out more about these grants ...


Summer Vacation Studentships

Summer Vacation Studentships

The Biochemical Society offers studentship funding for 2nd or 3rd year* undergraduate students to spend their summer working in a molecular bioscience research lab.

Students awarded grants will receive free student membership to the Biochemical Society for 3 years upon submission of their final project report.
