Biochemical Society Archive

The Biochemical Society archives contain records dating back to 1911, an audio-visual collection that includes over 80 hours of videotape material of extended interviews with eminent biochemists and the complete laboratory notebooks of the double-Nobel laureate Fred Sanger.

A considerable proportion of the archives is housed and managed by the Wellcome Library, London. Artefacts, chemicals and scientific instruments form part of the Biochemical Society Collection which is housed at the Science Museum in South Kensington, London.
