Scientific Publishing Workshop 


Attend our first scientific publishing workshop to find out more about how publishing works at the Biochemical Journal. Aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers, this one-day workshop will give you the tools to structure your papers and review papers written by others, help you understand the peer review process and ethics in publishing, and provide  information on current topical issues in scholarly publishing.

The event includes:

  • An interactive workshop on reviewing papers
  • An opportunity to meet the professionals
  • Networking and refreshments


The workshop is FREE to Society members and £90 to non-members.


Approved by the Society of Biology for the purpose of CPD, this event may be counted as 21 CPD credits.


This workshop has reached FULL CAPACITY - however if wish to attend please email the conference office to be placed on a waitlist should space become available.

Members wishing to attend this workshop will have to register and provide payment card details. Payment of £30 will be taken only if the member does not attend on the day.
