Biochemical Society Focused Meeting
Proceedings will be published in
Biochemical Society Transactions
The Ras superfamily of GTPases includes the Rab, Rho, Ras and ARF families, members of which contribute to a vast array of cellular processes from signal transduction to vesicle trafficking. These proteins are active and interact with their downstream targets when bound to GTP, and inactive when bound to GDP.
This Focused Meeting will provide a unique forum for biologists working in a variety of cellular systems, from yeast to mammals and from intra-Golgi transport to signal transduction, to share results and discuss technological approaches. In addition, the meeting will be of wide-spread interest to many people working on GTPases to find out how they can use these new approaches to investigate the function of their specific proteins of interest.
