A joint Biochemical Society / European Society for Neurochemistry Meeting

Meeting background
Research into the fundamental mechanisms underlying neurological disease processes is an important and rapidly developing area, with huge potential significance, not least for developing novel therapeutic approaches. This joint meeting between the European Society for Neurochemistry and the Biochemical Society will bring together basic and clinical scientists, early-career and senior investigators to explore the recent advances in this area.
The programme includes three full days of science arranged in a number of plenary lectures, symposia and mini-symposia with talks from world-leading scientists as well as poster sessions, and opportunities for oral presentations selected from among the submitters of abstracts. The social events in this world heritage city which accompany the scientific programme will promote interactions between all participants at the meeting. Networking and social activities include a reception at the Ancient Roman Baths and a conference dinner. We look forward to welcoming you to Bath in 2013.
