It is the home of Guy's, King's and St Thomas Schools of Medicine and Dentistry; one of the country's largest medical and dental schools and is a great place for conferences and meetings.
The Heat Shock Proteins and Modulation of Cellular Function Focused Meeting will be held in the Robens Suite situated on the 29th Floor of Guy's Tower, boasting some of the best views of the City.

Poster Abstract Submission
On-line poster abstract submission is now closed
POSTER ABSTRACT DEADLINE: 13 FEBRUARY 2004
NB: Any posters abstracts submitted after this deadline will not be published in the Programme Book or on-line and can not be put forward for a selected poster presentation.
- It is possible to bring late posters to the Meeting.
- Poster boards sizes are 1m x 2m portrait.
- All posters should be mounted using Velcro, which will be provided.
- All poster abstracts will be available to view online two weeks prior to the meeting.
Has my abstract been accepted?
- After abstract submission you will receive a unique four digit control number to identify your abstract.
- If you submitted an abstract but did not receive a control number, then please e-mail meetings@biochemistry.org.
- Approximately two weeks after the abstract submission deadline has passed, you will receive an e-mail informing you whether your poster has been accepted.

There will be an all day trade exhibition in the Robens Suite lounge. Coffee and lunch will also be served here, adjacent to the poster exhibition.

By Train
Guy's Campus is located directly next to London Bridge mainline railway station and London Bridge Underground/Tube station.
London Bridge station has seven platforms and is the major terminus to and from the South and South-East of England (London, Kent, Dover and Brighton). There are also through trains to Charing Cross, Cannon Street and Waterloo. Thameslink trains run through trains between Brighton and Bedford (via Blackfriars).
Docklands Light Railway (DLR) trains run from Bank and Tower Gateway stations to all areas in South-East London including Canary Wharf and Docklands.

London Bridge station is a short walk over a footbridge to Guy's Campus.
By London Underground
Northern Line (London Bridge & Borough) - direct link to Kings Cross St. Pancras and Euston stations and to all other Underground lines.
Jubilee Line (London Bridge) - the modern extension provides direct links to Waterloo International station, the Docklands (including Canary Wharf), Stratford (East London) and Bond Street (West London).
London Bridge Underground station is a short walk from Guy's Campus.
By Bus
London Bridge bus station is a major terminus from all directions on the East side of London. Many central London buses link directly to the terminals either at London Bridge, Monument or Tower Hill.
By Coach
National Express run coach services from all over the country to London Victoria Coach Station, where attendees are then advised to take the Underground, bus or a taxi to Guy's Campus.

London City - Delegates are advised to take the green shuttle bus (2.50) to Canning Town Station and then the Underground directly to London Bridge, next to Guy's Campus.
London Gatwick -Delegates are advised to take the Gatwick Express into Victoria then the Underground to London Bridge, next to Guy's Campus.
London Heathrow - Delegates are advised to take the Heathrow Express train into London Paddington and then the Underground to London Bridge, next to Guy's Campus.

Transport for London will impose a charge of 5 per weekday on most vehicles, being used in Central London.

Confirmation
All registered delegates will be sent a confirmation e-mail to confirm registration details. This letter should be checked carefully to ensure that all requirements are correct. In particular, the spelling of names and affiliations should be checked, as this information will be used to create badges. Confirmation e-mails also act as a receipt and also contain venue maps and delegate information. Please bring a copy of the e-mail with you to the conference.

Refunds
Cancellations will be accepted in writing until Friday 2 April (10 working days before the meeting) subject to a 15 administration fee. However, after this date, neither full nor partial refunds can be given. Please note that refunds of less than 15 cannot be given.
