Posters

Poster abstract submission
Online abstract submission is now closed. If you would like to bring a poster to the meeting and have not submitted an abstract online, please contact kay.miller@biochemistry.org.

Has my abstract been accepted?
Once you click the 'submit' button, the online submission page will change to a submission confirmation page and you will immediately receive a unique control number which will identify your abstract. If you do not receive a control number, then please email support@portlandpress.com immediately. Approximately 2 weeks after the abstract submission deadline has passed, you will receive an email informing you that your poster has been accepted.

Poster size
Posterboard size will be 1.2 m high by 0.9 m wide (portrait). Velcro to mount your poster will be provided at the registration desk.


Getting to Edinburgh and the New Royal Infirmary

The meeting will take place in the Chancellor's Building of the The New Royal Infirmary. The venue is situated on the South side of Edinburgh, in Little France off the Old Dalkeith Road (A7).

By Air
Edinburgh Airport is approximately 30 minutes transfer time from the centre of Edinburgh. A frequent bus transfer from the Airport to the City Centre operates daily.

By Train
Edinburgh Waverley station is situated in the heart of the city centre and is served by trains from all over the UK. For fares and timetables information visit National Rail Enquiries.

Please note that Edinburgh Haymarket station is not in the city centre.

By Road
Edinburgh is well served by the motorway network, and parking will be available at the New Royal Infirmary.

Getting to the Royal Infirmary by Bus once in Edinburgh

Service 33 operates from Princes Street to the New Royal Infirmary every 10 minutes via Old Dalkeith Road

Service 8 operates from North Bridge to New Royal Infirmary every 15 minutes via Cameron Toll and Inch

Service 49 operates from North Bridge to New Royal Infirmary every 20 minutes via Walter Scott Avenue

In particular, the spelling of names and affiliations should be checked, as this information will be used to create badges.

Cancellations

Cancellations received Wednesday 5 November the meeting will be refunded, subject to an administration charge.

Please note that after this date, no refunds will be made.

Official letters of invitation, which are intended to assist with administrative arrangements in certain countries, will be issued upon request once an abstract has been submitted (and accepted), and registration fees have been received. Such letters do not imply commitment of financial or other support by the organizers.
