Launched in 2016, Insight into University provides short (one week) bursary supported placements for teachers with local university biochemistry departments. As well as providing the chance to experience cutting edge research, the scheme offers a great opportunity to develop new strategies for supporting science students with numeracy and practical skills and to learn more about university application processes and the careers available to biochemistry graduates.
Universities already engaged with the scheme include the University of Liverpool, University of Exeter, University of Birmingham, University of Cambridge and Queen Mary University London.
