Poster Prizes.

The Promega poster competition will take place at York and will be awarded to the two best student posters displayed at the meeting. Eligible candidates must be UK PhD students or researchers still in the first two years of their post doc. and be under the age of 29 years. Entrants must also be members of the Biochemical Society. The prize consists of a cheque for 200 and winners will be entered into the Promega Life Scientist of the Year 2002 competition.

The Biochemical Society poster prize of 200 will be awarded to the best poster presented at the York meeting and 50 for the runner up. The only criterion for being considered is that the presenter is a student member of the Biochemical Society.

The judges will consider scientific content and presentation when deciding the winners for both competitions.
