End of Year Member Event
All members of the Biochemical Society are invited to attend our end of year get-together. We will be celebrating our year at the AGM, enjoying a fascinating talk by one of our 2015 award winners and meeting other members over drinks.

The Biochemical Society Award Medal Lecture

The Biochemical Society Award Medal lecture will be presented by Dr Nick Lane, University College London, UK.

The Society's Council introduced this award in 2001 with the intention of widening recognition of excellence to span more diverse fields of endeavour within, or related to, the biochemical sciences.

This year, the Award is presented to Dr Nick Lane (University College London, UK) for 'a sustained and diverse contribution to the molecular life sciences, with a special emphasis on education and/or the public understanding of science'.
