The Biochemical Society provides an extensive range of events, including scientific conferences, training events, outreach activities, medal lectures, and policy and education events.  This programme provides an excellent opportunity to magnify your research by submitting an abstract for an oral communication or poster presentation, and sharing your work with the wider molecular biosciences community.

A Biochemical Society Scientific Meeting

There are many of active research groups in the UK working with RNA polymerases. The 30th Annual Meeting will provide a networking and collaborative opportunity for researchers, and provide a platform for early-career researchers to present their latest lab research.


With an aim to strengthen UK activity in the field, this ‘workshop’ style meeting gives it the unique position of being the only meeting in the UK dedicated to this topic

Oral communication slots are available at this meeting. 

All attendees, particularly researchers in the early stages of their career, are invited to submit a poster abstract for consideration as an oral communication.

The Biochemical Society offers a programme of grants and bursaries supporting research, attendance at scientific conferences and the sponsorship of events.
