The Biochemical Society provides an extensive range of events, including scientific conferences, training events, outreach activities, medal lectures, and policy and education events.  This programme provides an excellent opportunity to magnify your research by submitting an abstract for an oral communication or poster presentation, and sharing your work with the wider molecular biosciences community.

A Biochemical Society and FEBS Training Event

This two-day training event is aimed at anyone teaching or supporting teaching in Higher Education, from early career researchers to established professors. The aim of the course is to share best practice and novel ideas with bioscience HE educators, to equip students with the key skills needed to succeed in their careers and enhance their experience. The event will comprise lectures, hands-on sessions, group discussions and poster presentations.


Topics include:


- Evaluating teaching practice through pedagogical research

- Engaging students in undergraduate research projects

- Teaching and assessing large cohorts using interactive and engaging methods

- Teaching postgraduate and international students
