The Society believes that scientific outreach events are a fun and important way to engage young people and the public in the molecular biosciences. Outreach events not only help foster the next generation of biochemists, but they also promote an increased public understanding of molecular bioscience.

The Society is willing to provide grants of up to £1000 to help support your outreach activity. Find out more about the grants, view our activities library and apply for a grant.

The Biochemical Society offers studentship funding for 2nd or 3rd year* undergraduate students to spend their summer working in a molecular bioscience research lab.

Students awarded grants will receive free student membership to the Biochemical Society for one year upon submission of their final project report.
