Full and Early Career Member Bursaries

 

Full and Early Career Members are eligible to apply for a Bursary to attend Biochemical Society Focused Meetings. If you are not a member, join today.


Bursary Amounts Awarded


The maximum bursary available for a Focused Meeting is £200 if the meeting is taking place within your country of residence and £300 if you have to travel outside of your country of residence to attend the meeting.

Full and Early Career Members can apply for a Bursary if they are a member of the Society by the closing date for poster abstract submission for the particular event they wish to attend.

If you apply for a Full and Early Career Member Bursary to attend a meeting you must submit a poster abstract for presentation at the meeting.

Full and Early Career Members can apply for a Bursary once a year. You cannot receive an Full and Early Career Member Bursary in the same year as a General Travel Grant or International Sponsored Place.


If awarded, bursaries will be paid within three weeks of the event taking place.



Related Grants



General Travel Grants are available to Full and Early Career Members of the Society wishing to attend any scientific conference.
