Portland Press Ltd is the wholly owned subsidiary of the Biochemical Society.

It is a not-for-profit publisher of journals, books and electronic resources in the cellular and molecular life sciences. We publish the following journal and e-resources on behalf of the Society. The Biochemical Journal - the Society's flagship journal, Biochemical Society Transactions, Bioscience Reports, Clinical Science, Essays in Biochemistry and Biochemical Society Symposia. We also publish the Society's member magazine The Biochemist and its online counterpart Biochemist e-volution
