The Biochemist is the Society's membership magazine, produced and distributed six times a year. The magazine offers themed articles on pertinent issues as well as regular features on education and policy. In April 2008 a new regular feature was added, 'Engendered Species', discussing issues affecting women in science as well as guest articles from those with expertise in this area. An archive of 'Policy Matters' and 'Engendered Species' articles can be found below.

In 2013, the Engendered Species series will be replaced by a special series of articles to celebrate Women in Biochemistry.

If you have an idea for an article or would like to contribute to future editions of the magazine, please contact Policy Officer Catherine Ball at Catherine.Ball@biochemistry.org
