The Biochemical Society and its wholly owned publishing subsidiary Portland Press Ltd (PPL) are seeking an experienced and influential leader to join us from January 2025 on the retirement of the current postholder Kate Baillie.

Our new Chief Executive will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering a new strategy to increase our income, partnership, and growth potential. The successful applicant will be able to empower individuals, provide inspiring leadership, and act as an effective advocate and ambassador for the Society.
