The Main things to remember when writing your CV are:
1. Highlight the skills you have developed from your Biochemistry degree
2. Be positive and truthful
3. To tailor your CV for each job you apply for
4. Always accompany your CV with a covering letter

CV Layout

There are no hard and fast rules, but the following layout is suitable for most job applicants.

Name
Address (include home and term time if different)
Telephone (including Mobile)
Email
Nationality and Date of Birth (optional)

Education (starting with the most recent and include details of the skills you gained which are relevant for the job you are applying for)

Employment (last job first and include details of the skills you gained whilst in that job)
IT and Other Skills
Interests
