The Biochemical Society provides an extensive range of events, including scientific conferences, training events, outreach activities, medal lectures, and policy and education events.  This programme provides an excellent opportunity to magnify your research by submitting an abstract for an oral communication or poster presentation, and sharing your work with the wider molecular biosciences community.

Understanding Scientific Publishing


Want to understand more about scientific publishing in order to support your academic career? 

The Biochemical Society can help!
Attend our first scientific publishing workshop to find out more about how publishing works at the Biochemical Journal. Aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers, this one-day workshop will give you the tools to structure your papers and review papers written by others, help you understand the peer review process and ethics in publishing, and provide information on current topical issues in scholarly publishing.
