The Education Group
The aim of the group is to foster and provide a forum for discussion of all aspects of education related to
Biochemistry, defined in its broadest sense. These include general curricula, theoretical and practical work,
assessments of teaching and learning, and innovation involving new concepts or the use of new technology.
The group organises colloquia at Biochemical Society meetings, often jointly with other societies. Unlike most
other groups the proceedings are not usually published as Transactions but a report is produced in the
Biochemist to help the content reach a wide audience.
