Making a bid for Biochemical Society support of an Independent Meeting

The Meetings Board of the Biochemical Society invites its Theme Panels, academic research departments, individuals and other groupings of scientists to submit proposals for recognition/badging of Independent Meetings. Independent Meetings are supported by the Biochemical Society as follows:
Student members may claim a maximum travel grant of £50 for travel within the UK, and on an ad hoc basis, the Meetings Board will consider grants of up to £150 for travel to overseas meetings.

Speakers at Independent Meetings may be invited to produce manuscripts for publication in Biochemical Society Transactions.
