Syn Bio collection of papers

The UK is a world leader in science and engineering, and Synthetic Biology has been identified as an important area for our continued success. Key to that success is a cohesive, vibrant and multidisciplinary community, open to collaboration, open to advances, supportive of young talent, and driven to exceptional research with meaningful outcomes.
The SynBio UK conference aims to showcase UK Synthetic Biology research and to create a focal point for the community, embracing its diversity and fostering its growth and its engagement with society.
Held in the vibrant city of Manchester, where scientists first split the atom, the Manchester SynBio Centre, SYNBIOCHEM, specialises in synthetic biology for fine and speciality chemicals production, providing some focus towards chemicals and industrial biotechnology at this year's meeting.

Oral communication slots are available at this meeting. All attendees, particularly researchers in the early stages of their career, are invited to submit a poster abstract for consideration as an oral communication.

Student Bursaries are available for this meeting.

FAIRDOM SynBio Data Management training day

Externally Organized

More Info

We atFAIRDOMare excited to announce that we will be hosting a SynBio Data Management training day, immediately following the conference, on Wednesday 29th November. The event is for everyone from beginners to experts in data management, and from PhD students through to PIs. We will be discussing current state of the art in Data Management from UK Synthetic Biology, and then following this up with hands-on training on our FAIRDOM Platform (openBIS and SEEK). The FAIRDOM Platform is currently used in the Manchester and Edinburgh Synthetic Biology Centres, and by more than 50 consortia groups in Europe. It is a national resource for the Centre for Digital Life in Norway.
