How to deliver biomolecular science honours research projects with limited lab bench time – Part I

Time: 15:00 (BST)

Due to social distancing, shielding and travel restrictions, lab time and bench space will be limited for many final year biomolecular science undergraduates in the 2020/2021 academic year. To meet the aims and learning objectives of final year honours research projects under these conditions, projects will require adaptation. In this two-part webinar series, researchers who have successfully delivered – and students who have undertaken – biomolecular science undergraduate projects under restricted lab time conditions will share their experiences.

In Part I, we will be joined by Dr Douglas Houston, Senior Lecturer in Computational Biochemistry at the University of Edinburgh, and his student, Vincent Blay, who will share their experiences of supervising and completing research projects under limited lab space and time. They will tell us what worked well for them, what they would rethink in the future, and answer your audience questions.
