The adipocyte across biological scales
Earlybird/abstract deadline: 11 October 2021 This meeting is co-hosted with the Society for Endocrinology and aims to bring together scientists of all career stages in the adipose biology field, to share and challenge the latest advances in adipose research, and foster new collaborations in this important area of research. The programme will feature an Early Career Workshop, presenting the opportunity to ECRs to take part in an interactive careers sessions and a discussion of advances in adipose tissue methodologies. The meeting will also include talks from leaders in the field and talented new ECRs on topics such as the cutting edge of basic molecular biology of the adipocyte, cell-cell interactions and the adipose microenvironment as drivers of disease, and the regulation of adipose tissue function by hormones released from distant cells and organs.
