In response to this global pandemic, we’ve seen examples of bioscientists coming together, eager to help combat this virus and support colleagues, by using their labs to manufacture hand sanitizer, distributing equipment or offering their skills and expertise in voluntary capacities.
With teaching and research so disrupted, we also know that you’ll have had to adapt and will no doubt still be coming to terms with new regimes and process.
We would love to hear about from our community about how it is changing the way that it works. Are you teaching remotely? Are there home experiments that either you or your students are conducting? Are you planning or are you involved in the organization of online seminars?
In addition, our Policy Team is looking for molecular bioscientists working on SARS-CoV-2, in virology or other related fields, to help them with upcoming policy work and Select Committee consultations.
Please get in touch so we can collate people’s thoughts, consider how best to support our community, and share your expertise and experience during this unsettling period.
