A joint event organised by FEBS and the Biochemical Society, in association with the IUBMB. Evolving molecular bioscience education is back for its fifth event in the series! This two-day event is aimed at anyone teaching or supporting learning in higher education in the molecular biosciences, from early career researchers to established professors. The event will comprise of group discussions, talks from invited speakers, and flash talks and posters from delegates. The event will focus heavily on communities of practice in bioscience education. Poster PrizeThe poster prize is sponsored by FEBS Open Bio, with a prize of 200 euros for the winner. Biochemical Society BursariesWe offer a wide variety of bursaries to help you attend this event and save money on registration fees! Apply during the registration process for any of the following schemes: Full, Early Career, and Student Bursaries: We offer bursaries of up to £300 to support the attendance of Full, Early Career, and Student members at our face-to-face and online scientific meetings, training events, and courses. General Travel Grants: Funding of up to £750 is available to support attendance at scientific meetings, training courses, or lab visits. Available for Postgraduate, Early Career, Full, and Emeritus members. Care and Assistance Grants: We recognise that care needs and requirements can vary from individual to individual. These grants provide additional funding to cover participation in a Society meeting or training course. The grant is open to all additional support needs, including but not limited to, carer support, childcare, disability, and accessibility needs. Stay Connected Bursaries: If you are currently on a career break, or have recently returned to work, these bursaries make it easier for members to remain engaged with the scientific community by covering the registration fees. Requests for financial support towards accommodation and travel will also be considered.
