Sarah manages the Society’s governance and secretariat functions, ensuring effective board and committee operations, risk management and regulatory compliance. Her oversight of strategic marketing and communications supports a transition towards research‑led, audience‑focused communications, and as a champion for EDI Sarah directs inclusive practice in governance, communications, and broader organisational strategy.

Sarah provides the secretariat function to the People, Remuneration and Nominations Committee, Audit and Finance Committee, Grants Panel, Awards Panel and the Eric Reid Committee, alongside other key governance services. Sarah also provides executive assistant support to the CEO as required.

Ellen provides the secretariat function for the Publications Committee, Policy, Education and Communities Committee, EDI Committee, Early Careers Advisory Panel, Industry Advisory Panel, Conferences and Training Panel and the Research Area. Ellen also supports EDI initiatives across the organisation and provides administrative support to the Governance and EDI team and Senior Leadership Team as required.
