Kate has responsibility delegated from the Council of Trustees and PPL Board to lead and manage the Group on a day-to-day basis, including development and implementation of strategy, leading the staff team of 43 and representing the organization to external stakeholders.

As Associate Director of Content and Engagement, Clare has strategic oversight, along with the relevant Society Trustees, Committees and Panels, of the Society’s content – across the Society’s publishing, education, training and policy remits. Clare oversees the Society’s many communities and engagement with the Society’s membership and Local Ambassadors.

Kofo Balogun
Kofo Balogun

As Associate Director of HR, EDI and Technology, Kofo has strategic oversight, along with the relevant Society Trustees, Committees and Panels, of the Society’s HR operational activities, EDI development and technology support across the Society.

Lorraine Reese
Lorraine Reese

Lorraine oversees responsibility for the management and implementation of the Group’s programme of conferences and events along with running of the Society’s Awards and Grants schemes and manages the Marketing and Communications team as well as specific projects across the Group.

Doug Armin
Doug Armin

Doug works with the Senior Management Team, Trustees, and key stakeholders to ensure that an appropriate policy framework is in place to guide the Group’s financial decision making and to maintain effective internal financial control.
Doug also oversees the provision of effective support services for the Trustees, Directors, and the governing committees to enable them to discharge their duties efficiently and effectively, whilst ensuring there is sound governance in place so that the organization adheres to the highest standards of probity and due process
