Review Journals

Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of life science research, Emerging Topics in Life Sciences is a fully commissioned journal jointly owned by the Royal Society of Biology and the Biochemical Society. Guest edited by leading experts, themed issues focus on new, or growing, key topics, keeping readers up-to-date with the latest advances from across the life sciences.

Editor-in-Chief: Professor Paula Booth (King’s College London, UK)

Translating molecular bioscience and experimental research into medical insights, papers published in Clinical Science cover a range of topics, including the cardiovascular system and vascular biology, genomic medicine, inflammation, nephrology, hepatology, and the respiratory system.

Editor-in-Chief: Michael J. Ryan (University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia, USA)

Providing a timely snapshot of the latest developments, Biochemical Society Transactions is a fully commissioned journal publishing mini-reviews from across all areas of the molecular and cellular biosciences.

Editor-in-Chief: Editor-in-Chief: Colin Bingle (University of Sheffield, UK)

Providing a platform for valid findings and data, Bioscience Reports is a fully Open Access journal publishing sound scientific research in all areas of cell biology and the molecular life sciences. Assessed on soundness alone, accepted papers are published under the liberal CC BY license.

Editor-in-Chief: Weiping Han (A*Star Institute, Singapore)

Highlighting key contemporary topics in biochemistry, Essays in Biochemistry is a fully commissioned journal that brings together reviews from leading experts.  From antimicrobial resistance to the biological mechanisms of ageing, themed issues are guest edited by key opinion leaders, offering up-to-date summaries of changing specialist research areas.

Editor-in-Chief: Sarah Perrett (Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China)

Publishing high-quality molecular and cellular neuroscience research, Neuronal Signaling provides the ideal Open Access platform for a variety of neuroscientific disciplines, including basic signaling interests (such as neurotransmitters and receptors) and signaling aspects of pathologies.
