Professor Frank Sargent has been Honorary Treasurer and Trustee for over seven years. We thank Frank for his dedication to the Society during this time. As part of the role, as well as our Council of Trustees, he also served on PPL Board, Executive Management Committee, Finance Committee, Audit Committee and Nominations Panel.

Frank oversaw many changes and helped to drive the Society’s strategy forward through challenges such as property sales, Covid-19 and the open access landscape. Sitting on a number of committees Frank worked with a variety of stakeholders to overcome these and help the Society thrive.  

Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow, Society President said:
