PINK1 and Parkin in health and disease 2027

Scientific meeting

21 Apr 2027 - 23 Apr 2027

UK

Date: 21-23 April 2027 (TBC)

Location: London or surrounding areas (TBC)

Join us for the second international conference on the PINK1/Parkin pathway in Parkinson's disease, bringing together leading researchers to explore the latest advances in mitochondrial biology, neurodegeneration, and therapeutic discovery.

Building on the success of the inaugural 2024 meeting, this conference expands its focus to encompass both PINK1 and Parkin, highlighting their interconnected roles in mitochondrial quality control and Parkinson's disease pathogenesis. Discover new insights into protein structure and regulation, mitophagy and non-canonical pathways, inflammation, metabolism, human genetics, and patient-derived models, while exploring translational research from fundamental biology to emerging therapies.

Present your work through oral and poster presentations, with opportunities for selected flash talks, and connect with experts from academia, industry, and the clinic. Early-career researchers are especially encouraged to attend, with dedicated opportunities for networking and scientific exchange.

Whether your research spans cell biology, biochemistry, neuroscience, genetics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or clinical neurology, this meeting offers a unique forum to share discoveries, foster collaborations, and advance our understanding of pinkl1/parkin (or these pathways) in health and disease.
