Available opportunities
Opportunities to join the Society’s network of Ambassadors are now open
Biochemical Society Ambassadors are a key group of enthusiastic volunteers that help the Society achieve its goal of supporting and promoting the molecular biosciences. They are the first point of contact for the Society at their institutions, promoting Society activities, encouraging membership amongst their colleagues and peers, and serving as a conduit for the transfer of ideas between the Society and its community. They also help to organise and deliver local events and activities, such as seminars and receptions, and strengthen relationships and collaboration between their organisation and the Society.
We are welcoming applications for a range of roles, including those for students, industry members, and those based outside the UK. If you are interested in playing an active role in promoting the Society and all it does to support your local molecular bioscience community, we would love to hear from you.
The Biochemical Society is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community and, as such, we welcome nominations from all. You can find further information on our work to promote Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion here.
Click here for the Ambassador Terms of Reference and, once you've familiarised yourself with the duties of the role you wish to apply for, follow the application link at the bottom of the page to enter your details for any of the opportunities listed.
