News, Feb 11 2026
The Biochemical Society is delighted to share our new strategy. Following our previous 2022-2025 strategy and building on the successes from this, we remain committed to supporting our community through every challenge to ensure that everyone has the right support at the right time and in the right place.
Our vision for the future ensures we remain focused on those already established in the field, but also nurture students and early-career professionals, with our commitment to financial sustainability allowing us to deliver meaningful impact and respond to the evolving needs of the sector.
Our future is clear, with a revised focus on new aims to secure our place and remain resilient for the next 100 years, we will achieve consolidation, growth, and impact through all that we do.
To achieve our aims and ensure the future sustainability of the Society, our new strategy is built on three key missions, Knowledge, Careers, and Networks, to reflect our strengths and best serve the molecular bioscience community. Bringing together all aspects of our work from events and training to publishing and open science, to collaboration and technological integration. We aim to influence and communicate the knowledge shared by our community, support and develop career enhancement opportunities, and collaborate and connect to engage our networks.
