Following on from our successful ‘Antimicrobial resistance: the next pandemic?’ webinar in July 2023, the Biochemical Society revisited this crucial topic.

In this webinar, we asked what it will take for action on AMR to be effective, drawing on the themes of the UK government’s latest AMR National Action Plan. We explored the following themes of action with expert speakers:

• Enabling effective global AMR governance and action (Professor Anthony So)
• Investing in innovative phage technology (Professor Martha Clokie)
• Generating public awareness and engagement (Misbah Khan)
