• Professor Jen Heemstra, Charles Allen Thomas Professor of Chemistry at Washington University.

Jen is an avid science communicator and mentor and has received numerous awards for her teaching, research, and leadership, including the Cottrell Scholar Award and the National Science Foundation CAREER Award. Jen is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and has recently published her book 'Labwork to Leadership' which outlines essential strategies for motivating lab members, communicating key values and inspiring confidence.
