Would you like to champion your specialism and engage with the scientific community? Get involved in one of our Committees!
Members of each of the Research Areas meet four times a year to put forward ideas for conferences, consider proposals from within their field of expertise and to highlight to the Conferences Committee areas of hot science that should be considered for inclusion in the conferences programme. The Research Areas and Theme Panels also develop interdisciplinary activities and collaborate with appropriate partner societies.
If you have an idea for a conference, and wish to have an informal discussion with a member of a Theme Panel or Research Area, you are encouraged to contact that member.
The Biochemical Society is seeking nominations (including self-nominations) for well-established, highly-active research scientists to join our Theme Panels and Research Areas, including ECR and industry members. If you would like to put yourself or a colleague forward for membership of one of these, please complete the nomination form. We positively encourage nominations from a diverse range of backgrounds and subject areas within the molecular biosciences.
