The grant provides two Biochemical Society members with:

  • Accommodation
  • Registration for both the 48th FEBS Congress and the Young Scientists’ Forum
  • Some meals and excursions
  • Up to £350 for travel costs

The theme for the 48th FEBS Congress is “Mining biochemistry for human health and well-being”.

I am so grateful to the Biochemical Society for this International Sponsored Place! I am looking forward to furthering my scientific knowledge at an international level and having the opportunity to build a network of PhD student and Postdoc peers from across Europe. The opportunity to develop my communication, presentation and leadership skills within a cultural, collaborative and supportive learning environment will undoubtedly confer huge benefits for my desired future research career.
